There will be multiple turns, curves, a backtrack, wound beds, surface challenges, water, etc. If the handler has certain scenarios they would like to work on, they will be added to the track. This track will be set up like real world scenario in the rocky mountain region. The first part of the track will be where the hunters were able to eye track. Right up to the first wound bed. The hunters did not wait to track; the bull elk heard the hunters coming and left his wound bed leaving no blood. After the wound bed the team will need to track through a grid searched area (approximately 50 + yards). Remember teams, there are 8 ounces of blood on this line. Over half will be used by the first wound bed. Only elk hoof will be laid through the grid search.
